Hot rolled asphalt or tarmac as it is often called now is considered to be the premium surfacing material for driveways, it delivers the very best in low maintenance surfacing while delivering outstanding durability that will give more than 25 years of trouble free service when installed correctly, an asphalt driveway is very low maintenance and exceptionally easy to keep clean as there are no open sand filled joints for weeds to live and grow unlike with block or sett paving, making the removing of leaves / debris even snow an easy task.
The same goes for bird droppings, mud and silts they simply just wash away during rain fall. You can use various types of bull-nosed, high or low chamfer Kerb units together with flat standard brick or tumbled sets to form contrasting complimentary edge detailing combining many colours and designs to add extra visual impact to your driveway. You also have a choice of coloured heat bonded resin chips that can be added within the finished asphalt surface.
The new generation of inlay manhole covers with lifting keys built in eliminates the unsightly old rusting metal or oddly shaped manhole covers, they are almost invisible as the inlay materials match the surfacing surrounding it. Remember all of our quotations and advice are free!!
